Assistant Property Manager Role

Chapman Management Group is looking for a dedicated Assistant Property Manager to become an integral part of our team. This position involves collaborating with both the Property Manager and the Regional Property Manager to effectively oversee our multi-family housing portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating the collection, recording, and depositing of rental payments and other financial transactions.
  • Managing waiting lists and processing tenant applications efficiently.
  • Assisting in property inspections and coordinating maintenance efforts.
  • Addressing resident inquiries and enforcing lease agreements.
  • Performing various administrative duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in property management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with rental assistance programs is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with property management software such as Entrata and AvidXChange is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills are essential.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to diverse neighborhoods.
