Position Overview

The Bliss Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive to join our Professional Services team. The candidate will have the opportunity to join a team responsible for the B2B integrated marketing activities and PR for our largest client, supporting multiple business lines and industries within. They will participate in strategic planning and content creation initiatives across the entire account and assist in executing several large-scale marketing campaigns. They will also have the opportunity to delve deep on several complex issues, including tax policy, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive business growth and client engagement.
  • Manage client relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for select clients, overseeing both strategy and execution.
  • Leverage exceptional writing and editing skills to develop and edit high-quality content, including surveys, studies, and other long-form thought leadership collateral, email marketing copy, digital ad copy, video scripts, and more.
  • Develop media relations strategies, goals, media targets, and pitch angles to secure media coverage and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Pitch the media and secure media coverage to elevate the client's brand and reputation.
  • Serve as an industry expert and thought leader, demonstrating knowledge and expertise that directly and indirectly affects the client.
  • Route articles of interest to account teams and clients to stay informed and up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Assist in the development of long-term client plans and program recommendations, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Manage reporting mechanisms for clients and account teams to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Participate in client presentations and provide strategic guidance to senior team leaders.
  • Coach and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work for accuracy and providing constructive feedback.
  • Support organic new business development initiatives to drive growth and expansion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in public relations and/or integrated marketing, with agency experience preferred.
  • Exceptional long-form writing skills are a must.
  • B2B communications experience is a must.
  • Ability to grasp complex content and communicate it effectively to various audiences.
  • Strong interest in professional services and a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
  • Proficiency in digital and social content marketing, including experience managing accounts and interacting with clients.
  • Understanding of traditional news media landscapes and experience pitching to secure media coverage.
  • Understanding of integrated PESO marketing strategies and their application in a B2B setting.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to work quickly and prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing client and team needs and priorities.
  • Intellectual curiosity, a passion for learning, and a positive attitude.

Work Environment
