Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our transportation operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our team, ensuring the delivery of our annual business plans and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer relations through effective communication and outreach programs.
  • Select, train, and mentor location staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance plans and ensure fleet availability to meet service requirements.
  • Develop and implement safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company, contract, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure operational metrics are met and financial metrics are managed effectively.
  • Implement and promote company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Interact with the bridges committee to effectuate positive changes to policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Participate in labor and employee relations activities to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • College degree or equivalent business management experience.
  • Management experience required, with a minimum of 5 years of comprehensive experience in operations management and 7 years of management or supervisory experience in a paratransit environment.
  • Knowledge of Trapeze scheduling software and labor/union(s) negotiations/expenses expertise.
  • Strong analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and high degree of multi-tasking skills.

Starting salary range: $217,000 - $235,000
