Work Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The role involves working primarily at designated field sites, with occasional travel required to various locations.

Position Summary:

The Field Technician Lead is pivotal in managing and coordinating field operations, ensuring the effective deployment, upkeep, and repair of our telecommunications systems. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to operational excellence, directly impacting the quality of service delivered to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Act as the main point of contact for the field technician team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient task execution.
  • Field Operations Management: Strategically plan and prioritize field activities to meet project timelines and service agreements.
  • Installation Oversight: Supervise the installation and commissioning of telecommunications equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Lead the troubleshooting and repair efforts for telecom equipment and network infrastructure, promptly addressing technical issues to minimize service interruptions.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work performed meets company standards and customer expectations through regular quality checks.
  • Training and Development: Mentor and train field technicians, fostering their professional growth and keeping the team updated on the latest industry trends.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety by enforcing safety policies and procedures among the team.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of field operations and provide management with regular updates on operational status and challenges.
  • Customer Interaction: Engage with customers professionally, addressing inquiries and providing technical support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Must be eligible for employment in the U.S. without sponsorship.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in telecommunications operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Strong technical knowledge of telecommunications systems.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
  • Proficiency in English; Spanish language skills are a plus.
