Job Summary:

As a Front Desk/Host at Dave & Buster's, you will be the first point of contact for our Guests, setting the tone for an unforgettable experience. You will be responsible for greeting Guests, coordinating game rentals, and ensuring a seamless transition from retail to dining. Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through exceptional communication and attention to detail.
  • Act as an ambassador for Dave & Buster's, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere for all Guests.
  • Coordinate game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones to ensure a seamless Guest experience.
  • Prepare for shifts by ensuring the Front Desk and Host station are stocked with supplies and organized.
  • Review and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk and Host station.
  • Ensure all menus are stocked and properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Check for restocking of necessary supplies and bring all areas up to standard.
  • Discuss problem areas with Managers and conduct merchandise inventory as needed.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all Team Members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Notify Managers of any unhappy Guests and assist other Team Members as needed.
  • Drive table turn timing by scouting open tables, bussing, and cleaning as necessary.
  • Rotate seating appropriately to ensure fairness and balance in the dining areas.
  • Manage flow from the front doors, efficiently helping Guests with needs and directing as needed.
  • Manage wait times and communicate information to Guests, Team Members, and Managers.
  • Deliver silverware to Guests as they are seated and make timely and accurate calculations of bill transactions.
  • Process transactions efficiently and with a smile, while ensuring accuracy.
  • Complete 'To Go' order transactions and ensure accuracy.
  • Sell merchandise from the Front Desk as applicable.
  • Must be friendly and able to smile frequently, and be able to communicate effectively with multiple Guests while generating enthusiasm for D&B.
  • Is dressed in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional at all times.
  • Must demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells to Guests.
  • Must be skilled at calmly responding to dissatisfied Guests and calling issues to Manager's attention.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.

Salary:
  • Compensation is from $17.7 - $19.2 per hour
