Job Summary:
As a Senior Human Resources Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions to achieve strategic and operational objectives. Your ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and across departments will be essential. You will leverage your expertise in employee relations and analytical skills to advance HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure consistent application of all company HR policies.
2. Provide objective coaching to associates and management on complex issues, including guidance on disciplinary actions.
3. Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes for hourly positions.
4. Coordinate and maintain associate recognition programs.
5. Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws.
6. Regularly review HR activity reports and support internal customer surveys.
7. Increase HR visibility by attending department meetings and conducting training sessions.
8. Review requests for pay adjustments to maintain internal equity.
9. Prepare and present HR-related training topics.
10. Act as a champion for diversity initiatives, focusing on recruitment and retention goals.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- PHR or SPHR certification strongly preferred.
- Minimum of three years of HR generalist experience; management experience is a plus.
- Experience in a large, multi-unit organization is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced skills preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR policies.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Training certification is a plus.
