Position Title: Retail Operations Coordinator

Reports To: Regional Operations Manager - Retail

FLSA Status: Regular Exempt

ROLE SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for assisting the Regional Operations Manager with operational processes, systems, and business functions within the assigned region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Facilitate communication and enhance efficiency across departments.
  • Provide insights to the Regional Operations Manager aimed at improving operations and fostering growth.
  • Monitor daily performance, suggesting adjustments to enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Assist in the training and implementation of systems and technology.
  • Support the creation of standard operating procedures to boost efficiency in the designated area.
  • Offer training and assistance to all Trulieve retail partners.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Operations Manager to identify and address areas for operational improvement.
  • Maintain a project management system and ensure cross-functional communication for store operations.
  • Assess needs and devise operational strategies for retail training, visual merchandising, customer flow, product organization, and asset protection.
  • Provide support for new store openings, ensuring readiness for launch and understanding of ongoing operations.
  • Work with Learning & Development to create product education for new launches.
  • Visit retail locations to ensure effective management and high sales performance.
  • Handle other assigned projects and responsibilities as directed by the Regional Operations Manager.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred: Associate degree or higher.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Experience in operations management, particularly in retail or customer service, is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Analytical and observant with a curious mindset.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and interact with diverse personalities.
  • Capability to train, develop, and assess team members.
  • Proficient in conversational English for effective communication with customers and team members.
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must possess the mental and physical abilities necessary to fulfill job duties.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Must pass a level 2 background check.

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to move throughout the workday and have the ability to see and hear or use prosthetics to meet these requirements.
  • Must be capable of relating to and working with individuals who may be ill, disabled, elderly, or emotionally distressed.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds and move it a distance of at least 50 feet, with or without assistance.

WORK SCHEDULE:

  • 45+ hours per week with flexible hours based on business needs. Availability for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Travel may comprise 50%-75% of the work schedule.

Compensation will be based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, is available for this position. This role will typically require an average of 40 hours per week, with availability for after-hours emergencies.
