As an intern in the Gas Power Aeroderivative sector, you will play a vital role in a dynamic, customer-oriented environment, collaborating with diverse teams including product management, engineering, and marketing. Our approach utilizes Lean methodologies to enhance our commercial bidding processes for premier Aeroderivative gas turbine solutions.

Role Responsibilities

As an Aeroderivative Engineering Intern, you will engage in various projects, including:

Product Champion Intern:
  • Collaborate with product champions and sales teams to identify necessary materials for effective positioning of our Aeroderivative gas turbine offerings.
  • Coordinate with technical and marketing contributors to gather relevant content and transform it into accessible formats for sales teams.
  • Familiarize yourself with sales content management systems to assist the commercial team in efficiently accessing information.
  • Gain knowledge of the complete range of Aeroderivative gas turbine products and ensure comprehensive content availability.
  • Participate in business processes related to solution selling of Aeroderivative technologies.
Aero Repairs and Exchanges Process Specialist:

This role supports a high-volume, interactive process involving a complex supply chain. You will assist a team responsible for Aero shop repairs and module exchanges, focusing on timely project delivery and profitability. Responsibilities include managing communications with regional sales and customer service teams, as well as supporting the Aero Alliance.

Aero Tendering & Cost Intern:

This position emphasizes the organization and development of power plant designs and cost information to facilitate growth in the Aeroderivative sector. You will lead cross-functional initiatives, collaborating with seasoned engineering and cost professionals. Key tasks include integrating supplier proposals into a new database application and analyzing engineering calculations to identify cost-driving variables.

Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
  • Majors accepted: Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Additional Requirements:
  • Willingness to undergo a drug test and background investigation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to foster strong customer relationships.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
