Job Overview

Wawanesa Insurance is seeking a highly skilled Sales & Customer Service Technical Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing short and long-term initiatives and projects, gathering data, conducting research, and analyzing results to improve business procedures and results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead special projects and contribute to organizational and strategic initiatives.
  • Assist with improving processes and procedures through data gathering, analysis, development of recommendations, and providing guidance and leadership during periods of change.
  • Coordinate and develop project timelines and plans.
  • Develop and utilize reports that will enable the business to make informed decisions.
  • Ensure all documents and materials contain current and relevant information.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with teams across the organization to understand business priorities and assist with monitoring and implementing regulatory changes.
  • Lead testing and simulation efforts to ensure implementation accuracy, effectiveness, and ease of use.
  • Monitor, respond, and track social media posts and reviews.
Requirements
  • College degree and minimum 5 years of progressive experience required or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance guidelines and applicable insurance coverage forms.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/assignments, establish priorities, and complete assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Ability to conduct research, analyze results, and translate findings through report or presentation.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to develop standards for ensuring quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to comfortably deliver project presentations to large and small audiences.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and as an independent contributor with limited direction and oversight.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to study data, draw accurate conclusions, and make logical and reasoned decisions.
