Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Advisor to join our team at Hendrick Automotive Group. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support throughout the vehicle repair process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with customers to understand their vehicle repair needs and provide personalized service and support.
  • Communicate effectively with service technicians to ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Provide detailed estimates and explanations of repair costs to customers.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the service workflow to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Meet or exceed dealership standards for repair and order production.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest repair techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive repair or customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with dealership management systems and other web-based applications.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and techniques.
Work Environment

The Service Advisor will work in a fast-paced service environment, interacting with customers, service technicians, and other dealership staff. The position requires regular and predictable attendance, with scheduled shifts including evening hours, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands

The Service Advisor will be required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, and other service repair conditions.
