Position Summary: We are looking for a Project Assistant to support our operations. This role presents a valuable opportunity for individuals eager to enter the construction sector or advance in project management. The position entails overseeing and maintaining project purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation to ensure precision, accessibility, and adherence to project standards. The role may involve occasional travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative for the Project Manager during onsite meetings.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, including the documentation and distribution of Minutes of Meetings.
  • Participate in design meetings as necessary.
  • Coordinate various teams during both pre-construction and construction phases, including engineering, QA/QC, CQV, and stakeholders.
  • Assist in the RFI and Submittal approval process, ensuring timely responses and approvals.
  • Enhance communication and collaboration between the construction and design teams.
  • Identify potential risks and escalate issues to the relevant personnel.
  • Support the Project Manager with weekly action lists and daily operations, serving as a strategic advisor.
  • Organize, review, and provide insights on SharePoint directories.
  • Monitor documentation requirements, follow up on deadlines, and assist with documentation distribution matrices.

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong skills in database management.

Educational and Professional Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the construction field.
  • Experience in supporting project requirements is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with the project management lifecycle is essential.
