About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Skyline Nursing Center. As a Medication Administration Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by accurately administering medications and providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments to residents in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes to the nursing supervisor.
  • Collect and record medication administration data to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Deliver routine daily medications to residents and pass medications in accordance with physician orders.
  • Verify the identity of residents receiving medication and record the name of the drug, dosage, and time of administration.
Requirements
  • Certified in the state of practice.
  • Successful completion of State Approved Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
