JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Spearhead initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, resulting in substantial reductions in defects and costs while boosting overall efficiency.
- Maintain and update engineering documentation, actively participating in Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) to implement recommendations that mitigate process safety risks.
- Develop Pre-Feed and Front-End Loading (FEL-1) packages for capital projects.
- Engage in projects focused on optimizing energy usage, contributing to lower operational expenses in a continuous manufacturing setting.
- Conduct root cause analyses and implement process modifications/control strategies to foster ongoing improvement.
- Leverage Six Sigma methodologies to facilitate process enhancements.
- Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for processes and collaborate independently or within teams to minimize variability and waste through optimization of unit operations.
- Collaborate closely with fellow operational engineers to devise and implement innovative engineering solutions aimed at improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Utilize the Management of Change (MOC) process to oversee modifications.
- Provide support to operations in troubleshooting daily process challenges as required.
- Create new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or revise existing ones as necessary.
- Perform sizing and package creation for relief valves.

YOU MUST HAVE
- A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
