Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our plant equipment through advanced engineering practices and strategic project management.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Principal Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with maintenance and capital project teams to ensure all electrical installations comply with regulatory standards and company specifications.
  • Reviewing and enhancing preventive maintenance programs to guarantee operational reliability through systematic checks.
  • Conducting thorough incident investigations and analyzing equipment failures to mitigate risks and enhance safety.
  • Leading Continuous Improvement Projects and managing Capital Projects aimed at optimizing operations and quality.
  • Providing support for Distributed Control Systems (DCS) configuration and maintaining the operational network infrastructure.
  • Updating and establishing Process Safety Management (PSM) procedures for critical equipment.
  • Assisting maintenance teams in troubleshooting complex equipment failures and developing effective solutions.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and the ability to work collaboratively in problem-solving teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in using computer systems.
  • Effective organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plant operations, materials management, and relevant software applications.
