About You and This Role - What You Will Do

Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Process Engineer within our operations team. This role is essential for enhancing operational efficiency by applying technical expertise to optimize plant processes, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the safe and efficient production of high-quality products.


Responsibilities - Key Duties and Activities
  • Oversee and analyze daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure optimal operational performance.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to address and mitigate both immediate and long-term operational challenges.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of operational logs and alarm histories to gain insights into plant activities.
  • Ensure adherence to operational permits and compliance standards.
  • Provide insights for system optimization and diagnose root causes of production inefficiencies.
  • Facilitate the application of best practices and process automation to enhance plant performance.
  • Engage with experts for advanced troubleshooting and to refine operational protocols.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the field to emphasize the importance of procedural compliance.
  • Act as a technical authority during unplanned events, driving effective corrective actions.
  • Lead initiatives aimed at improving raw material efficiency, focusing on yield and waste reduction.

Qualifications - Required Skills and Experience
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Engineering (chemical, mechanical, or electrical preferred).
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Ability to work safely at elevated heights, with a willingness to undergo safety training.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
