Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Cleaning Crew Leader to join our team at EnviroVac. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the setup, operation, and maintenance of hydro blasting equipment, as well as ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Crews: Provide direct supervision, coordination, and continuity to assigned crews, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Perform Hazard Recognition Awareness to identify and mitigate hazards, and ensure compliance with DOT, EPA, and OSHA regulations.
  • Manage Equipment and Resources: Supervise the use of equipment, materials, and subcontractors, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Coordinate Project Work: Plan and coordinate project work to meet quality, budget, and safety objectives, including layout and hookup requirements and assigned crew work lists.
  • Maintain a Safe Work Environment: Ensure the project work-site is maintained in a safe and environmentally sound condition, and report any unsafe or environmentally unsound conditions to management.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate with supervisors, employees, and customers to ensure effective project execution and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Commercial Driver's License: Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver's License, if medically qualified.
  • Industrial Cleaning Experience: Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial cleaning or a related field, with a strong understanding of hydro blasting equipment and operations.
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong technical skills, including the ability to operate industrial vacuum trucks, high-pressure industrial water blasters, and other necessary equipment.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and management.
Working Conditions
  • Office Environment: Work in a normal office environment, with occasional outside work in extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, and exposed to weather.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to organize office systems, walk and climb stairs, lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders in heights of up to 250 feet.
