About the Role

As a Customer Specialist at CarMax, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will act as a guide and provide support to customers throughout their journey, ensuring a seamless and transparent process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service by guiding customers through every step of the buying and selling process.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle condition assessments to ensure accurate appraisals.
  • Check in and receive vehicles, complete daily scanning and reconciliation of inventory, and perform cosmetic inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Perform various administrative duties, including printing daily reports, maintaining transaction paperwork, and contacting finance companies.
  • Create service appointments and review repair order invoices to ensure accuracy of documentation.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Display confidence in yourself, the product, and CarMax.
  • Ability to balance customer needs with business requirements and create win-win solutions.
  • Perform multiple duties in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Sales and customer service experience preferred.
