Position Overview: We are currently looking for a motivated individual to become a part of our Customer Service Team, supporting our external sales force.
The primary role of the Inside Sales and Customer Support Specialist is to deliver exceptional technical assistance and respond promptly to inquiries from our customers and Account Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance and maintain customer relationships
- Address customer inquiries and requirements
- Support Account Managers effectively
- Provide accurate product details, pricing, and availability in a fast-paced environment
- Negotiate sales and purchase agreements
- Assist with product returns
- Expedite and manage material routing
- Distribute product literature
- Offer technical support
- Upload data to customer internet portals
- Create quotes and process sales orders
- Assist in inventory management and shipment preparation
- Follow up with customers to provide delivery updates and order status
- Conduct outbound prospecting calls to expand our market reach and promote value-added services
- Update customer records in the CRM system
- Perform additional duties as required
While we offer comprehensive training programs, the ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or sales within a manufacturing or distribution setting.
Experience in industrial distribution or related fields, particularly in Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Fluid Power, Electrical, Power Transmission, Motors, and Motion Control, is preferred.
Proficiency in customer service-related software, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and vendor pricing tools, is advantageous. Familiarity with Trend ERP systems is a plus. A strong analytical mindset, along with mathematical and mechanical skills, is essential for success in this role.
