Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Production Assembler to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our production unit, you will engage in essential tasks that contribute to the manufacturing process. Successful candidates will exhibit meticulous attention to detail and the capability to adhere closely to assembly guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble components such as plastic parts, ball screws, gears, and motors, culminating in final assembly.
  • Operate manual machinery as required.
  • Interpret and understand instructions while following established protocols.
  • Gather all necessary materials and tools to initiate the assembly process.
  • Align materials and assemble parts to construct more intricate units.
  • Inspect output to guarantee the highest quality standards.
  • Maintain equipment in optimal condition.
  • Report any issues, malfunctions, or defective components.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in an assembly role is preferred.
  • Technical knowledge with the ability to read assembly instructions and follow standard operating procedures.
  • Proficiency in using tools and machinery.
  • Strong understanding of quality control principles.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and physical fitness.
  • Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned environment.

Education and Experience:

A minimum of one year of relevant experience in an assembly or similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

  • Incumbents are required to stand for the entire shift, walk, sit, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
  • Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work is performed in a non-air-conditioned area where noise levels may exceed normal levels, and hearing protection may be necessary.

Additional Information:

A background check and drug screening are prerequisites for this position.
