Position Overview
Autodesk is on the lookout for a dynamic and skilled Software Engineering Manager to spearhead the Licensing Compliance division in the United States. This role involves overseeing high-achieving engineering scrum teams dedicated to developing and maintaining Compliance platform services and components that facilitate the detection and identification of non-compliance for both Desktop and cloud Autodesk products. The impact of this platform is significant, directly influencing the company's revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, lead, and nurture talented engineering teams, ensuring their professional growth and productivity.
  • Develop and own the technical strategy and roadmap for your team, collaborating closely with product managers and business stakeholders.
  • Guide your team in understanding requirements, assessing new features and architectures, and driving informed decisions.
  • Foster a culture of high performance, mentoring team members and equipping them with the necessary tools and motivation to succeed.
  • Advocate for strong engineering practices and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with other teams, architects, and product owners to achieve cross-organizational project objectives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in building and managing Cloud platforms, preferably with AWS.
  • Proficient in client-server technologies and stacks, including Java, Python, C++, Jenkins, and GitHub.
  • Demonstrated experience with Scrum and agile development methodologies.
  • Strong capability in collaborating with remote teams towards shared goals.
