The Compliance and Risk Management team at Compliance Wise is a dedicated group of professionals focused on upholding the highest standards of compliance and risk mitigation. Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Compliance QA Manager to join our Global Standards and Quality Assurance team. This role involves executing quality assurance and testing initiatives to ensure that our compliance policies and procedures are effectively implemented. The Senior Compliance QA Manager will maintain the QA framework, develop QA strategies, and conduct thorough reviews to enhance our financial crime controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive Financial Crime Compliance QA reviews based on regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Analyze regulatory requirements to design effective testing procedures that identify potential compliance gaps.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and reporting phases of QA reviews.
- Communicate findings and escalate issues to senior management as necessary.
- Ensure stakeholders address all recommendations and deficiencies identified during the QA process.
- Document all observations and issues in the central risk management system.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management outlining review outcomes and suggested improvements.
- Maintain thorough documentation of QA processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Incorporate the organization's risk appetite and culture into daily decision-making and activities.
Candidate Profile
We seek candidates who meet the essential qualifications for this role. Preferred qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in QA, testing, and governance roles related to financial crime, AML, sanctions, or risk management.
- Familiarity with the fintech and payments sectors.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, particularly in drafting QA reports.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of ownership and accountability in project execution.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to synthesize complex information effectively.
- Discretion in managing sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
