Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Compliance QA Manager to join our Global Standards and Programs team. This role involves overseeing quality assurance and testing initiatives to ensure that our compliance policies and procedures are implemented effectively. The Senior Compliance QA Manager will be tasked with maintaining the QA framework, developing comprehensive QA plans, and conducting reviews to identify areas for improvement in our financial crime controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Financial Crime Compliance QA reviews in line with regulatory standards and internal policies.
- Assess the design of testing processes to identify potential compliance gaps.
- Manage the planning, execution, and reporting phases of QA reviews.
- Communicate findings and escalate issues to senior management as necessary.
- Ensure stakeholders address all recommendations and deficiencies identified during reviews.
- Document all observations in the central risk management system.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management summarizing review outcomes and recommendations.
- Maintain thorough documentation of QA processes to ensure transparency and understanding.
- Integrate the organization’s risk appetite into daily compliance activities.
Candidate Profile
We seek candidates who meet the essential qualifications for this role. While preferred qualifications are advantageous, they are not mandatory.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in QA, testing, or governance roles related to financial crimes, AML, or risk management.
- Familiarity with the fintech and payments landscape.
- Strong analytical and writing skills, particularly in drafting QA reports.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven track record of ownership and task completion.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to synthesize complex information effectively.
- Discretion in managing sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
