Position Overview
Autodesk is on the lookout for a driven and seasoned Software Engineering Manager to lead the Licensing Compliance division in the United States. This role involves overseeing dynamic engineering scrum teams responsible for developing and maintaining Compliance platform services and components that facilitate the detection and identification of non-compliance for both Desktop and cloud Autodesk products. The work done in this area has a significant influence on the company's revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, manage, and inspire talented engineering teams, focusing on their professional growth and productivity.
- Develop and oversee your team's technical strategy and roadmap in collaboration with product managers and business stakeholders.
- Engage with your team to clarify requirements, assess new features and architectures, and guide decision-making processes.
- Foster a high-performance culture, mentor team members, and equip your team with the necessary tools and motivation to achieve results.
- Advocate for strong engineering practices and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with other teams, architects, and product owners to meet cross-organizational project objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing high-performing engineering teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Extensive experience in building and managing Cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
- Proficient in client-server technologies and stacks such as Java, Python, C++, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Demonstrated experience with Scrum and agile development methodologies.
- Strong ability to work with remote teams towards a unified goal.
