About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Associate II to join our team at Jefferson Health. As a key member of our healthcare operations team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the patient experience by providing exceptional customer service and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Check-in and Check-out: Process patient arrivals and departures in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring a smooth flow of patients to examination rooms.
  • Pre-certifications and Pre-authorizations: Obtain necessary pre-certifications and pre-authorizations for procedures, verifying insurance, referrals, and patient demographic information.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Provide professional and courteous communication with patients, visitors, and healthcare providers, addressing concerns and escalating issues as needed.
  • HIPAA Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security requirements, ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory standards.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other duties as requested or assigned, supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care and service.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Customer service and/or patient-facing healthcare experience preferred.
