System Scope and Objectives Definition:

  • Identifies and articulates the scope and objectives of systems by comprehensively understanding hospital operations and user needs.

System Development and Testing:

  • Develops system specifications, oversees system design across multiple applications, and executes system testing protocols.
  • Anticipates challenges, proposes solutions to complex issues with appropriate prioritization, and communicates resolutions to operational stakeholders.
  • Establishes comprehensive criteria for system selection based on both functional and technical specifications.

Relationship Building:

  • Fosters strong relationships with organizational stakeholders (financial, clinical, and operational) throughout the specification, design, and testing processes; conveys ideas clearly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related clinical field (Required).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience with various healthcare clinical systems such as Epic, GE, McKesson, Siemens (Required).
    • 1 year of experience in a healthcare environment (Preferred).
    • 1 year of experience with the implementation of EMR software applications (Preferred).
  • License/Certifications: EC - Epic Certification (Preferred).
