The Position

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will embody energy, enthusiasm, and determination to guide a team, steering them towards success on bustling sales floors. Your responsibilities will include balancing store deadlines and daily operations while placing a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and the in-store shopping experience.

Your daily activities will involve equipping the stylist teams with their daily objectives and priorities, analyzing store performance and visual merchandising, swiftly responding to market trends, and ensuring optimal product placement through effective planning and communication with all team members.

This role serves as an initial step into team leadership; you will be responsible for the daily management of the store under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will be provided with the resources to learn, grow, and evolve into a versatile leader.
  • Your time will predominantly be spent on the dynamic sales floor collaborating with our stylist teams, ensuring all operations run seamlessly, and guaranteeing customers receive an exceptional in-store experience. Your product expertise will engage our teams and inspire our clientele.
  • With a focus on commercial success, you will work efficiently to ensure our products are consistently showcased effectively by partnering with visual merchandising teams, adhering to guidelines, and prominently displaying top-selling items to enhance the brand experience.
  • You will oversee the daily operations of the store, with team deployment being a priority in your routine. As you develop your business insight, you will need to apply your business acumen to ensure smooth operations and provide necessary support for your stylists' development.
  • Manage a diverse team of Stylists, supervising a group of passionate individuals as they attend to our customers' needs, engaging, motivating, and coaching them on a daily basis.
  • Collaborate with the management team to surpass store targets and KPIs, setting personal goals and creatively inspiring your staff to achieve and exceed these benchmarks.
  • Proactively address personnel matters such as return-to-work interviews, liaising with HR on specific issues, conducting investigations, and managing performance and attendance reviews.
  • Ensure daily compliance, serving as a role model for best practices and following up on any challenges or shortcomings encountered.
  • Independently create and implement floor plans and schedules, strategically positioning talent across the store to set the stage for daily success.
