Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in the prosperity of our retail locations. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with the Store Manager to cultivate team members, deliver exceptional customer service, and effectively communicate our company’s values, vision, and mission.

Key Responsibilities

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the Store Manager to ensure alignment with the company’s objectives, employee engagement, and community involvement.
  • Assisting in the development and motivation of team members to achieve sales targets and enhance the customer experience.
  • Maintaining high training standards and inspiring your team to contribute positively to store productivity.
  • Addressing customer and team member needs promptly and effectively.
  • Staying informed about industry trends to ensure the business remains competitive.

Daily Operations

You will support the daily functions of the store, which include:

  • Training and guiding team members in operational procedures, sales techniques, and customer service excellence.
  • Overseeing visual merchandising, inventory management, and store administration.
  • Managing the opening and closing procedures of the store, securing assets, and planning labor schedules.
  • Acting as the Store Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations.

Core Competencies

To excel as a Retail Operations Supervisor, you should possess:

  • Experience in retail management, ideally two to four years.
  • Strong communication skills to convey the UGG and Deckers Brands vision effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and the capacity to navigate challenges.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

Flexibility in scheduling and travel may be necessary to meet business needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential, along with a valid driver’s license.
