Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $85,200 - $110,800

Position Overview:

The Customer Relationship Manager will serve as the representative for Bimbo Bakeries USA across all brands. This role is pivotal in managing the sales and profitability of all BBU products within designated accounts. Responsibilities include overseeing corporate sales initiatives, promotional strategies, and marketing efforts. Building and maintaining strong business relationships with key decision-makers and internal partners is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and programs established by BBU.
  • Foster a safe working environment for all associates through effective safety initiatives.
  • Drive overall sales performance of BBU products in assigned retail divisions.
  • Lead and coordinate all customer-related activities, acting as a liaison between the customer team and sales operations.
  • Develop strategic plans for assigned accounts to align with BBU's short and long-term objectives, focusing on market share growth and trade optimization.
  • Conduct business reviews with assigned accounts at both headquarters and group levels.
  • Manage contracts, incentive programs, and marketing initiatives while maintaining accurate pricing records.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and formulate action plans to enhance BBU's brand portfolio.
  • Analyze promotional effectiveness in collaboration with the Customer Planning team to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in creating annual budgets and managing overall customer expenditures.
  • Ensure accurate volume forecasting and projections.
  • Prepare and present business plans aimed at achieving sustainable growth and profitability.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with assigned retail customers.
  • Represent Bimbo Bakeries USA professionally in all customer interactions.

Education and Experience:

A Bachelor’s Degree in business or a related field is preferred. Candidates should possess 5-7 years of relevant experience in customer relations or sales, with a preference for CPG/DSD experience. Strong project management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are required. Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are a plus.
