We are seeking a highly skilled Dealer Relationship Specialist to join our team at OneMain Financial. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with auto dealerships to grow our indirect auto lending business.
Key Responsibilities- Dealer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key personnel at auto dealerships to identify opportunities for growth and increase our market share.
- Business Development: Work independently to establish new dealership partners and expand our network of franchise and independent dealerships in assigned geographic regions.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new markets and opportunities for growth, and develop strategies to establish a new dealership base.
- Dealer Engagement: Work with existing partners to engage non-participating and under-performing dealerships, and provide best-in-class customer service to drive business growth.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain a positive and mutually beneficial cohesion within the team, and assist other departments as required by business needs.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as State and Federal regulations.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of sales experience required.
- Skills: Excellent rapport-building skills, goal-oriented self-starter, ability to work well with others, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
