Job Overview:
The Grants Administrator plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of the District Attorneys Office (DA Office) by delivering sophisticated data management services. This position involves the collection, organization, and analysis of data essential for grant reporting and record-keeping. The Administrator will monitor achievements, objectives, and data pertinent to the Survivor and Victim Services Division (SVSD) of the DA Office. Under the guidance of DA Office leadership, this role will coordinate multidisciplinary case staffing processes and additional services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafts grant proposals to secure funding for the DA Office.
- Manages online grants management systems and ensures accurate data entry.
- Assists in the preparation and adherence to contracts and agreements associated with grants and external funding, in compliance with Federal, State, and County regulations.
- Contributes to both short-term and long-term planning and program execution.
- Collects and maintains data within the DA Office database systems for various victim service programs, ensuring data integrity through quality assurance tasks.
- Monitors DA Office program services, metrics, and outcomes for program evaluation and necessary statistical reporting.
- Supports the development of tools and methodologies for data collection and retrieval.
- Oversees database entries, resolves inconsistencies, and aids in the creation of tracking procedures.
- Compiles and provides information as requested, generating weekly, quarterly, and annual reports to meet DA Office and grant requirements.
- Creates and implements analytical tools such as statistical reports, graphs, and lists to clarify complex data.
- Reviews source documents for precision and accuracy.
- May assist in developing content for the DA Office's website, publications, and other outreach materials.
- Facilitates multidisciplinary team meetings as needed, coordinating the execution of case action plans with partner agencies.
- Conducts outreach to victims of crime post-adjudication, performing assessments to identify needs and screen for services.
- Develops and maintains collaborative agreements and training for multidisciplinary partners.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required, along with four (4) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Preference will be given to candidates with certifications such as Certified Grant Administrator (CGA), Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), or Grant Professional Certification (GPC).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proficient in grants management, including the full application cycle.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Effective communication and public relations techniques.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and online grant management software.
- Experience in database entry and maintenance.
- Ability to perform statistical analysis and apply mathematical formulas.
- Proficient in office software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
Working Conditions:
This position may require the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
