Supply Chain Operations Internship Opportunity

Lowe's is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Intern to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of our supply chain operations, including monitoring associate performance, expediting receiving and shipping of priority product, and promoting a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in monitoring associate performance and ensuring assigned tasks are executed accurately and as scheduled.
- Support the expediting receiving, picking, and shipping of priority product, including Special Order Express (S.O.E.) and Special Order Sales (S.O.S.).
- Promote a safe work environment by completing safety observations and making recommendations on staffing needs and work to be accomplished on the shift.
- Assist in effective communication with associates regarding business objectives and current issues.
- Support shift turnover documentation and assist in resolving equipment issues.
- Identify and assist in implementing process improvements.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required.
- Proficient in MS Office Programs, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong collaborative, interpersonal, innovative, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with others.
- Proven record of complying with safety requirements and ability to build a culture of safety among subordinates and peers.
