Lebanon Care Center is committed to providing affordable healthcare benefits for our staff and is pleased to collaborate with SEIU 503 and the Essential Worker Healthcare Trust to offer a comprehensive health insurance plan at a significantly reduced cost.
Starting in 2023, our Full-Time team members will have the opportunity to enroll in a PPO or HMO plan with deductibles as low as $800.00, along with reduced premium rates. Employees can begin utilizing their benefits within their first month of employment, eliminating the typical waiting period. Additional benefits such as Vision, Dental, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, and more are also available for enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve meals that are visually appealing and meet established portion control standards in a timely manner.
- Review diet trays and collaborate with the facility's dietitian to implement dietary changes as directed by Nursing Services.
- Coordinate food service operations with other departments.
- Ensure that food and supplies for upcoming meals are readily available.
- Maintain and review menus prior to food preparation.
- Assist in meal service as required, ensuring timely delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in a healthcare setting, such as a hospital or nursing facility, is preferred.
- Possession of a valid Food Handler's Card is required.
- Ability to prepare a variety of dishes in large quantities.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is essential.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Foster an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm, cheerful environment.
