POSITION SUMMARY

The Sustaining Engineer Level 2 plays a critical role in delivering the technical assistance necessary to support and enhance the production capabilities of Integra's Operations Team. This position focuses on diagnosing and resolving production failures, ensuring that testing and qualification processes align with customer specifications. Collaboration with Development Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales teams is essential to provide tailored testing solutions that meet diverse client needs. Additionally, the engineer will undertake various engineering projects aimed at improving overall quality and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess and address Failed Setups (FS) and Failed Verifications (FV) during daily operations.
  • Engage with development engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve testing issues.
  • Execute Engineering Setups to achieve production targets.
  • Utilize Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and other testing tools to manage technical challenges.
  • Design and implement ATE test programs for semiconductor devices based on approved plans.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and quality audit findings.
  • Support the Preventative Maintenance Program for testing hardware.
  • Manage test socket inventory and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Provide technical guidance to Data-log script technicians to ensure compliance with customer documentation standards.
  • Contribute to the Thermocouple Verification process and manage the 'Golden' Devices process.
  • Participate in the annual disposition of inactive TPRs.
  • Facilitate effective communication across various functional teams to address technical challenges.
  • Propose and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within NRE development processes.
  • Adapt to additional responsibilities as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 2 - 4 years of relevant experience, including:

  • In-depth understanding of testing and qualification requirements for components.
  • Familiarity with the engineering test development process.
  • Experience in developing test programs for integrated circuits.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Proficiency in programming techniques and electronic testing equipment.
  • Ability to interpret semiconductor datasheets and specifications.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Advanced technical skills in the field of specialization.
  • Ability to define project scopes and tasks with minimal supervision.
