POSITION SUMMARY

The Sustaining Engineer Level 2 plays a crucial role in providing technical assistance to enhance the productivity of Integra's Operations Team. This position focuses on assessing and resolving production failures, ensuring that testing and qualification processes meet customer specifications. Collaboration with Development Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales is essential to deliver tailored testing solutions that align with customer needs. The engineer will also engage in various engineering projects aimed at improving overall quality and operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyze and address Failed Setups (FS) and Failed Verifications, prioritizing issues during daily operations meetings.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve testing challenges.
  • Prepare Engineering Setups to support daily production targets.
  • Utilize Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and other testing tools to resolve technical issues.
  • Develop and implement ATE test programs for semiconductor devices based on approved plans.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and quality audit findings.
  • Support the maintenance of test hardware through a Preventative Maintenance Program.
  • Manage test socket inventory and coordinate necessary repairs.
  • Provide guidance to technicians on data documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Participate in verification processes and support training initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within the Sustaining Engineering team.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts related to NRE development processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience required, including:

  • Strong grasp of technical requirements for component testing.
  • Familiarity with engineering test development processes.
  • Experience in developing test programs for integrated circuits.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and creatively solve technical issues.
  • Proficiency in programming techniques and electronic testing equipment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships across teams.
  • Effective communication skills for both written and verbal interactions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Possesses foundational engineering knowledge and applies company policies to resolve issues.
  • Demonstrates technical skills in engineering tasks and project planning.
