SQA Services is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team in Wichita, KS. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for providing witness and verification inspection services for in-process and end-of-line inspections of flight hardware.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct detailed inspections of flight hardware to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations.
- Document anomalies and non-conforming products in accordance with prescribed procedures and processes.
- Communicate and resolve quality-related issues with site personnel.
- Process non-conforming products and assist engineering in root cause analysis and corrective action.
- Observe technical operations and offer guidance and/or serve as an additional technical resource.
- Must be a US Citizen with multiple valid forms of identification.
- Must be able to pass a drug and background check.
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 2+ years of inspection experience in an aerospace, military, or manufacturing environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with aerospace standards.
- Experience using calibrated inspection tools.
- Experience with quality assurance principles, methods, and processes.
- Intermediate level skill with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Intermediate level skill with Windows operating systems.
- Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed.
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs. unassisted.
- Must be able to climb ladders, stoop, bend, crawl, and work in tight spaces.
Compensation: $25 - $32 an hour
Salary: Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
