POSITION SUMMARY

The Sustaining Engineer Level 2 plays a crucial role in providing the necessary technical assistance to enhance and maintain the production capabilities of Integra Technologies. This position involves evaluating and identifying solutions to address production failures and ensuring that test data aligns with customer specifications. The engineer will collaborate closely with various teams, including Development Engineering, Customer Service, and Sales, to deliver tailored testing and qualification solutions that meet the unique needs of Integra's clientele.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess and resolve Failed Setups (FS) and Failed Verifications, prioritizing issues during daily operational meetings.
  • Engage with development engineers and production staff to discuss test outcomes and troubleshoot issues.
  • Prepare Engineering Setups to meet daily production targets.
  • Utilize Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and other testing tools to address production challenges.
  • Develop hardware and software for ATE to test semiconductor devices according to approved plans.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints and quality audits as needed.
  • Support the Preventative Maintenance Program for testing hardware.
  • Manage test socket inventory, including ordering and repairs.
  • Provide technical guidance to Data-log script technicians to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
  • Support various verification processes and assist in archiving inactive TPRs.
  • Communicate effectively across different functional teams to address technical challenges.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes through ongoing support activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience: 2 - 4 years in relevant fields, including:

  • Strong grasp of technical requirements for component testing.
  • Familiarity with the engineering test development process.
  • Experience in developing test programs for integrated circuits.
  • Ability to solve complex technical issues related to testing platforms.
  • Proficiency in programming techniques and electronic testing equipment.
  • Ability to interpret semiconductor datasheets and specifications.
  • Attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Possesses a developing expertise in engineering, applying company policies to resolve issues.
  • Demonstrates technical skills and applies knowledge to meet objectives.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
