Role Summary:

The Inspections Technician will oversee onsite evaluations and inspections of construction activities. This role is essential for ensuring adherence to all contractual obligations, upholding superior quality standards, and fostering effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and the public.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive inspections of construction sites, emphasizing the condition of pipe interiors.
  • Document and monitor construction processes to verify compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.
  • Compile detailed daily observation reports, inclusive of photographic documentation.
  • Engage professionally with clients, homeowners, and the public to address inquiries or concerns.
  • Analyze CCTV footage of pipe interiors to evaluate conditions and confirm compliance.
  • Participate in regular project meetings to contribute to effective project execution.
  • Maintain project tools and documentation in an orderly fashion.
  • Facilitate clear communication with the project team and external partners.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in field inspection or related roles within construction or engineering.
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and construction standards (ASTM, MAG, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) for managing digital files and reporting.

Additional Information:

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Arizona driver's license within 3 months of employment.
  • Ability to acquire NASSCO PACP and LACP certifications.
  • Prior experience in utility installation, construction oversight, or trenchless pipe rehabilitation is a plus.
