Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of heavy civil construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor multiple construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality control and safety standards are met.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Safety Management: Implement and enforce safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Communication and Reporting: Maintain accurate records, reports, and timesheets, and provide regular updates to project managers and support staff.
  • Collaboration and Problem-Solving: Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a superintendent in civil construction.
  • Knowledge and Skills: In-depth knowledge of civil construction, including curbs, gutters, sidewalks, valley gutters, bridges, ADA ramps, dirt work, underground, and punch lists.
  • Leadership and Communication: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and teach upcoming craft workers.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, ability to follow directions, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
