Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Materials Testing Specialist to join our team in Tempe, AZ. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for testing and inspecting construction materials, such as soils, concrete, masonry, and hot mix asphalt, to ensure quality control and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct testing and inspection of construction materials in a laboratory setting and on construction job sites
  • Discuss test results with clients' on-site representatives
  • Prepare daily reports on project-specific activities
Requirements
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry 30 to 50 lbs. and 80 lbs. periodically
  • Strong communication and detailed writing skills
  • Basic math and writing skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player
  • Capable of working independently
  • Availability to work irregular hours and on weekends
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass drug screening
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous construction materials testing experience required and current ATTI, ICC, and/or ACI certifications or equivalents
Certifications
  • ACI - American Concrete Institute
  • ICC - International Code Council
  • CWI- Certified Welding Inspector
  • NICET- National Institution for Certification in Engineering Technologies
  • ATTI - Arizona Technical Testing Institute
