Position Summary:

BryceTech is seeking a seasoned program manager to provide support to our clients in the Department of Homeland Security, specifically the U.S. Coast Guard's Chief Information Officer and the Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC).

Client Background:
In alignment with the Commandant's Coast Guard Modernization Initiative, the C5ISC was established to standardize processes and procedures across various locations and missions. The primary objective of the C5ISC is to consolidate the Coast Guard's command, control, communications, computer, cyber, and intelligence support structure to deliver technological solutions that ensure mission success. The C5I Service Center comprises a geographically dispersed workforce of over 1,100 dedicated military, civilian, and contractor personnel committed to fulfilling the demands articulated by the Commandant's Intent. The rapid pace of innovation in the maritime sector necessitates a growing interconnectivity and reliance on data and networks, alongside the deployment of commercial space and artificial intelligence systems. The CIO, CG-6, C5ISC, and CGCC are engaged in a technological transformation of outdated enterprise systems and require ongoing support services to assist the U.S. Coast Guard's business and logistics functions amidst this swift technological evolution.

Mission of CG-6:
CG-6 aims to enhance the value of C5ISC in executing U.S. Coast Guard missions by formulating and aligning enterprise strategies, policies, and resource decisions with the strategic goals and requirements of the U.S. Coast Guard.

Role Responsibilities:
The Senior Consultant will provide expertise and assistance in government business practices, business process re-engineering, development of business metrics, facility and workforce planning, as well as communications and marketing strategies. The consultant will also address management-related issues as specified in subsequent orders.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or Engineering.

Professional Experience:
In addition to the educational qualifications, the candidate should have at least ten (10) years of experience in business process development, re-engineering, or management.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:
The Senior Consultant must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and analysis of technical data
  • Capability to interpret acquisition policies, regulations, and directives
Additional Information:

This position is contingent upon BryceTech securing a prime bid for the DHS U.S. Coast Guard Business and Logistics Management Support Services contract.
