Key Responsibilities:

The IT Support Technician plays a crucial role in the installation and maintenance of IT hardware, software, and infrastructure at the headquarters. This position reports directly to the IT Plant Systems Team Leader for the USCAN region.

Primary Duties:
  • Serve as the main contact for high-priority VIP and end-user support, collaborating with other technical support teams as necessary.
  • Oversee the complete Product Lifecycle Management (PCLM) process with a focus on Asset Management.
  • Set up and manage audio-visual technologies for global meetings.
  • Analyze, resolve, and follow up on issues, tasks, and requests related to project-specific technical specifications to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Configure, install, deploy, upgrade, secure, maintain, and support desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and other assigned peripheral devices.
  • Ensure the security, cleanliness, and organization of the PC and Server room.
Qualifications:

Essential:
  • Strong technical skills, particularly in PC hardware.
  • High school diploma or GED.
Desirable:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, along with a minimum of 1 year of professional IT technical support experience.
  • In the absence of a bachelor's degree, a 2-year degree with at least 2 years of experience or 4 years of equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Familiarity with inventory, asset management, and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is advantageous.
