Overview:


The Cadmus Group's Strategy and Transformation Team is seeking a seasoned Strategic Communication Consultant to craft and implement comprehensive communication and change management strategies aimed at facilitating technology adoption within a significant federal agency.

This role encompasses the development of strategies and tactics across diverse channels, maximizing all communication opportunities, and collaborating across divisions to ensure the delivery of impactful communications.

Additionally, you will partner with the client leadership team to create executive briefings and reports that clearly and concisely reflect program status, implementation progress, and successful adoption strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic communication and change management plans for large-scale technology deployment initiatives.
  • Engage regularly with clients to understand their objectives, needs, and to foster collaborative relationships.
  • Design and deliver solutions that highlight the organization's core mission and strategy, enhance team accountability, and minimize redundant efforts.
  • Plan, initiate, and oversee communications related to information technology (IT) projects.
  • Act as a liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Create detailed executive reporting materials, primarily using PowerPoint, to track goal achievement, identify gaps, and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Proactively manage time and work requirements to maintain high-quality deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 14 years of professional experience in writing, editing, researching, and developing strategic communication plans across various mediums, with a focus on tailoring content to specific audiences.
  • Familiarity with corporate communications, including the development of talking points and executive reports.
  • Experience in defining goals and strategies to enhance the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of communications and outreach efforts.
  • Consulting experience is preferred, particularly in government settings.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale marketing or change communication initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage both strategic tasks (developing plans, briefing executives) and tactical tasks (preparing presentations, documenting meeting outcomes).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) with a focus on creating compelling, relevant, and data-driven documents.
