Position Overview:
Cycle Reverse Logistics is in search of a skilled, motivated, and exceptionally organized Vendor Management Specialist to enhance our Reverse Logistics program as we broaden our commercial partnerships with various downstream vendors and expand our customer base.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will take charge of identifying, negotiating, and formalizing agreements with strategic partners to elevate and enhance the services that re:Cycle offers to its clients while safeguarding commercial and legal interests.

This role will utilize your expertise in vendor relations, business insight, and negotiation capabilities while collaborating with essential partners in Legal, Finance, Operations, Trade Compliance, and Risk Management.


In this position, you will navigate challenges effectively, manage escalations, foresee and balance trade-offs, and align business requirements with commercial considerations.

You will work closely with legal teams to evaluate risks and complex programs, breaking them down into manageable components, establishing functional commercial processes, and executing them efficiently.

Success in this role demands maturity, sound judgment, negotiation prowess, the ability to influence, analytical thinking, and strong leadership skills.

Core Duties:
  • Conduct initial vendor assessments prior to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with legal teams on NDAs, contract reviews, and execution of necessary agreements with external partners.
  • Create comprehensive vendor RFPs and vetting processes to assist business partners in evaluating vendor options.
  • Support a diverse range of projects that align with sustainability and recovery initiatives.
  • Act as the primary business liaison for internal stakeholders, including Operations and Commercial teams requiring legal agreements for key initiatives.
  • Coordinate global monthly business reviews, including metrics and narratives that outline strategies for the vendor portfolio.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
  • 3+ years of procurement experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Negotiation Skills: Exceptional negotiation abilities to secure optimal terms and pricing from suppliers.
  • Vendor Management: Proven track record in managing vendor relationships, including performance assessments and risk management.
  • Contract Management: Experience in drafting, reviewing, and overseeing contracts.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate market conditions, supplier performance, and procurement data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines concurrently.
  • Strategic Thinking: Skills in developing and executing procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives.
