Our Chronic Care FloorOur 60-bed Medicare/Rehabilitation and long-term care unit is a great place to learn basic med-surg, I.V. therapy, and wound treatments nursing skills. Nurses on this unit work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide individualized care and implement effective treatment plans.
Our Dementia Care FloorWe provide care to residents with a variety of diagnoses on our 60-bed Medicare/Medicaid/Dementia unit. Our team creates a fullness of life through the joy of relationships, the art of caring, and the spirit of living. We work closely with a multidisciplinary team to discuss resident care plans and ensure the best possible outcomes.
About the FacilityBeaumont Commons – Farmington Hills is a 3-floor facility with 9 units, providing care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Our first floor has 59 beds, focusing on sub-acute rehab, while our second floor has 59 beds, focusing on long-term care and sub-acute rehab. Our third floor is a secured dementia unit.
Scope of WorkAs a Registered Nurse (RN), you will deliver nursing care responsibly and accountably, upholding the standards of professional performance as described by the American Nurses Association (ANA). You will demonstrate competency through the critical thinking model known as the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
QualificationsWe require an Associate's Degree or equivalent ADN, experience in Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care, and a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan. At least one Certification from a preferred list is also required.
Work EnvironmentWe offer a part-time position with a flexible schedule, including night shifts and variable weekends. Our facility is committed to providing a safe environment for our team members, patients, visitors, and community.
