About the Unit

Our sub-acute floor is a 59-bed Medicare unit that provides care to residents with multiple clinical issues, including CHF, dehydration, cellulites, diabetes, DVT, and stable cardiac-related issues. Nurses work closely with a variety of healthcare professionals, including doctors, social work, dieticians, PT/OT, hospice, and spiritual support. Our sub-acute unit offers a well-rounded opportunity for learning, professional growth, and personal satisfaction.

Our Chronic Care Floor

Our 60-bed Medicare/Rehabilitation and long-term care unit is a great place to learn basic med-surg, I.V. therapy, and wound treatments nursing skills. Nurses on this unit work closely with a host of healthcare professionals to provide and implement the best treatment plan for residents. This fast-paced and busy unit provides a great atmosphere for PT/OT residents to be motivated and reach their goals.

About the Facility

Beaumont Commons – Farmington Hills is a 179-bed facility with 3 floors and 9 units. We provide care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Our first floor has 59 beds with a focus on sub-acute rehab, our second floor has 59 beds which focuses on long-term care and sub-acute rehab, and our third floor is a secured dementia unit. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving.

Qualifications
  • Required Associate's Degree in Nursing.
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree BSN.
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • 2-3 years' experience in Home Care or QA/UR Required.
  • LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required.
