Certified Nursing Assistant Long Term Care Professional

Our sub-acute floor is a 59-bed Medicare unit that provides care to residents with multiple clinical issues, including CHF, dehydration, cellulites, diabetes, DVT, and stable cardiac-related issues. Nurses work closely with a variety of healthcare professionals, including doctors, social workers, dietitians, PT/OT, hospice, and spiritual support. This unit offers a well-rounded opportunity for learning, professional growth, and personal satisfaction.
Our Chronic Care Floor
The Chronic Care floor is a 60-bed Medicare/Rehabilitation and long-term care unit that provides a great place to learn basic med-surg, I.V. therapy, and wound treatments nursing skills. Nurses on this unit work with a host of healthcare professionals to provide and implement the best treatment plan for residents. This fast-paced and busy unit provides a great atmosphere for PT/OT residents to be motivated and reach their goals.
Our Dementia Care Floor
The Dementia Care floor is a 60-bed Medicare/Medicaid/Dementia unit that provides care to residents with a variety of diagnoses. We create a fullness of life through the joy of relationships, the art of caring, and the spirit of living. This unit works closely with a multidisciplinary team to discuss the resident's plan of care.
About the Facility
Beaumont Commons - Farmington Hills is a 3-floor facility with 9 units, providing care for long-term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. The first floor has 59 beds with a focus on sub-acute rehab, the second floor has 59 beds with a focus on long-term care and sub-acute rehab, and the third floor is a secured dementia unit. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population being served. We care for dementia residents, long-term care, and sub-acute rehab residents. With 179 beds, we accept patients with various specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, cardiac, respiratory, and cancer. We also have various programs for residents to participate in multiple activities. Our goal is to create a Fullness of Life through the joy of relationships, the art of caring, and the spirit of living.

Qualifications
To be eligible for this role, you must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and completed training at an accredited nurse assistant training facility. You must also be certified as a CRT-Nursing Assistant through PROMETRIC Prometric upon hire. We are committed to providing a safe environment for our team members, patients, visitors, and community.
