Senior Business Development Associate

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance claims industry and a proven track record of driving business growth through strategic relationships and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive annual project count and expand our active client base.
- Leverage business development skills, market knowledge, and industry connections to generate leads and engage with potential clients.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, delivering exceptional service and exceeding expectations.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and changes, identifying potential marketing opportunities nationally and internationally.
- Build and nurture client relationships through attendance at marketing events, meetings, and presentations.
- Assist with the preparation of the Business Development Division's Annual Partner Presentation.
- Track and maintain business development meetings and events.
- Initiate and coordinate industry functions that represent the DBI brand.
- Coordinate and conduct data analysis in DBI's internal proprietary software system.
- Expand DBI services with preferred vendor panels of insurance companies.
- Assist with the creation and distribution of content to increase industry awareness of DBI.
- Maintain current brand and graphic collateral for marketing materials.
- Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing database.
- Maintain and update current website content.
- Build and manage the company's social media profiles and presence.
- Uphold the values of DBI Consultants and the culture espoused by Our Foundation.
- Consistently demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and the highest standards of ethical behavior and professional conduct.
- Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary and sensitive information.
- Commit to continuous improvement and professional development for self and team members.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Eight to ten years of business development, client service, or related experience.
- Highly motivated and target-driven individual.
- Desire to build new relationships and drive account growth with existing clients.
- Excellent written and oral business communication skills.
- Flexible and professional demeanor.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
- Ability to work under occasional supervision.
- Analytical with strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen and ability to impact/influence key decision makers.
Work is conducted primarily in an indoor office environment with protection from weather conditions and with exposure to noise typical of an office or administrative setting.
Physical activities and requirements include light lifting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, reaching, fingering, talking, and hearing at normal speaking levels.
The Senior Business Development Associate will work from DBI's Los Angeles office to assist with the expansion of the company business and client base.
This position requires a demanding schedule beyond core business hours to accommodate meetings and work activities.
Extensive travel to DBI offices and business development opportunities throughout the country is required.
Salary range: 95k+
