Job Title: Senior Business Development Advisor

Reed Smith is seeking a Senior Business Development Advisor to join our Entertainment and Media Industry Group in Century City. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives and sales efforts to increase revenue and elevate the firm's profile in the US music industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to the US music industry.
  • Identify and cultivate long-term partnerships with potential clients, leveraging the firm's global network and resources.
  • Analyze market trends and client needs to propose innovative solutions that align with the firm's capabilities and growth objectives.
  • Identify, source, and vet pitch opportunities for Reed Smith's music team.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of experience in business development or strategic sales within the legal or entertainment and media industry.
  • Strong understanding of the LA market and the ability to navigate its unique business landscape.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building influential relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful growth initiatives.
