Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager

Overview

The Senior Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving sales growth at STA Pharmaceutical. This individual will work closely with the leadership team to identify and pursue new business opportunities, with a focus on penetrating key customers and expanding our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new business leads, and present opportunities to the technical team and senior leadership
  • Facilitate business meetings with key stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and follow-up
  • Project a professional image of STA Pharmaceutical as a solutions provider, with clearly articulated messages
  • Support proposal writing and negotiation, with a focus on consistency and quality
  • Act as a point of contact for STA Pharmaceutical and customers, ensuring effective communication and relationship management
  • Represent STA Pharmaceutical at various meetings and conferences, and participate in event planning and execution
  • Work with senior leadership during crisis management, and maintain excellent relationships with internal business partners
  • Facilitate customer travel to China, and ensure effective communication with internal teams

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in life sciences, with 3+ years of industrial experience and at least 2 years of business development experience
  • Experience in CRO is a plus
  • Demonstrates a broad understanding of discovery leading to candidate selection and preclinical development
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
