We are currently seeking an Appointment Scheduling Specialist to become an integral part of our expanding team.


Position Overview:


As an Appointment Scheduling Specialist, you will be essential to our operational success by ensuring timely assessments for Medicaid beneficiaries. Your role will involve direct interaction with beneficiaries, providers, and assessors to meet required assessment turnaround times while addressing scheduling-related customer needs.

You will serve as a crucial link between these groups, facilitating effective communication and coordination, which contributes to the overall efficiency of our services.

This position is a full-time hybrid role, requiring a combination of remote work and onsite presence.


Key Responsibilities:


- Utilize automated systems to schedule assessments in accordance with contractual metrics, ensuring accurate and timely completion of scheduling documentation.

- Initiate communication with beneficiaries and providers to efficiently coordinate assessments.

- Address inquiries and requests regarding assessments, scheduling conflicts, and complaints, providing prompt and effective resolutions.

- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of internal policies, procedures, and services.

- Collaborate with supervisors on complex or unresolved issues to ensure appropriate resolutions.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience in the healthcare sector.
- 2 years of experience in scheduling (preferred).
- Exceptional customer service skills with a strong ability to foster and maintain relationships.
- Proven ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, even under conflicting deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated professionalism, flexibility, and reliability under pressure.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
